The Japan Racing Horse Association will hold its Select Sale of yearlings and foals next 9 of July 2012 (Yearling session) and 10 of July (foal session), at the Northern Horse Park at Tomakomai City.
There are 240 lots for sale in the yearling session. Among the stallions represented are: Deep Impact, Heart's Cry, Stay Gold, Zenno Rob Roy, King Amehameha. Sunday Silence male line is represented by 139/240 lots

Lot 1 is a bay colt (2011) by Neo Universe and Rising Cross (Cape Cross). He is the second foal of Rising Cross, winner of the Park Hill Stakes [G2], 2nd in the Oaks S -G1, 2rd in the Irish Oaks - G1, etc.
Lot 5 is a bay colt (2011) by Daiwa Major and Split the Night (Tony Bin), half brother to Admire Monarch (Nikkei Shinshun Hai - G2, etc.)

Lot 38 is a chestnut filly (2011) by King Kamehameha and G1W Fusaichi Pandora (Sunday Silence), winner of the Queen Elizabeth II Commemorative Cup, 2nd in the Yushim Himba (Japanese Oaks)
Lot 43 is a chestnut colt (2011) by Zenno Rob Roy and Lhiz (Hussonet). Lhiz won the Polla de Potrancas - G1 and the Premio Nacional Ricardo Lyon - G1.

As one of the original owners of Lot 1 Dam Rising Cross and based in UK, I am very keen to find out how she is doing as a broodmare in Japan.This is obviously her second foal being sold, can anyone tell me what is was sold for and how her first foal has performed on the racecourse? Any information about her will be much appreciated as she is very close to my heart and gave me so much pleasure and fond memories particularly the highlight of her career when 2nd in the Epsom Oaks.
